Rhett Russell Receives USPTA Recognition
Rhett Russell, a member of the United States Professional Tennis Association, recently received recognition for outstanding participation in the association’s continuing education program. Russell, A Foley High School and University of Alabama grad who resides in Orange Beach, AL, was awarded a Level I Certificate of Achievement for earning 10.75 credits in the association’s Career Development Program in 2018. “As an association, we know that career development is vital to our tennis-teaching professionals and coaches;’ said USPTA CEO John Embree. “Through our Career Development Program, we are ensuring all USPTA members are equipped with the knowledge and skills to enhance their careers. As the first and only USTA-accreditated Association under the USTA Accreditation Program, to see our members taking advantage of those educational opportunities and striving to earn more than the six-credit requirement personifies a commitment to personal and professional excellence.
