Rooms at Embassy Suites Gulf Shores available for August bookings

Rooms at the eight-story Embassy Suites hotel under construction across from Gulf Place in downtown Gulf Shores are available for reservation beginning on August 1. On March 25, suites on Aug. 1 were selling for $362 per night, including all fees. Rooms later in the month were listed for about $50 less than that.
A ribbon cutting date for the eight-story hotel has not been released. The Hilton-brand resort on West Beach Blvd. will feature 257 rooms, a lobby bar and restaurant, a rooftop amenity terrace, a pool deck and 13,620 ft. of meeting space. There will be a three-story parking garage and 7,618 ft2 of retail space for lease. Starbucks has already signed a lease to open there. Other amenities will include free wifi, a 24-hour fitness center, an electric car charging station, valet parking ($25 per night), and a daily free cooked to order breakfast.
The hotel will have three restaurants. Tide & Table and the The Sound Wave will overlook the Gulf of Mexico and the poolside Cove Bar will serve light fare along with cocktails. The pet friendly hotel will also include an outdoor entertainment venue, convenience store, 24-hour front desk and a business center.
The City of Gulf Shores hopes to complete already planned improvements to the areas around the hotel, including landscaping and sidewalks along West Beach Blvd. and West First Ave. before the opening.
