SBCT’s 24-Hour Play Fest info meeting set for May 6

Would you like to be considered for a playwright position for the 24-Hour Play Festival scheduled this June at South Balddwin Community Theater in Gulf Shores?
“It really is the most fun theatre weekend of the year. If you’re interested, we’re asking you to attend our May 6 Playwrights & Storytellers meeting at 6:30 p.m. at the theatre,’’ said SBCT President Steve Henry.
The format pairs six local playwrights with six local directors to create, cast, and produce six ten-minute plays all within 24 hours.
In just one day, complete strangers become creative teams, crazy ideas turn into living stories, and you could be at the heart of it all.
Curtains will rise for a one-night-only performance on June 27 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets will be sold at the door.
