SEC Soccer Championship back in Orange Beach Oct. 29
South Carolina, Florida, Tennessee, Texas A&M are all in top 20

The SEC Women’s Soccer Championship is coming back to Orange Beach Sportsplex for the 11th year in a row.2 First round matches in the single elimination tourney are scheduled Oct. 29 at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. The quarterfinals will be played on Oct. 31 with the respective semifinal and final matches slated Nov. 2 and Nov. 5.
The Orange Beach Sportsplex is located at 4389 William Silvers Parkway, just off U.S. Highway 180 (Canal Road) in Orange Beach, about 1 mile from the Foley Beach Express exit on Canal Road. Tickets to watch the games will be available at the gate. Adult tickets are $5 per game and children (K-12) are $2 per day. Championship play is scheduled for Sunday, November 5 at 2 p.m. and will be broadcast live. All seating is general admission.
The top 10 teams in the SEC will compete in the tourney. On Oct. 10, those teams were South Carolina (6-0), Florida (5-1), Texas A&M (5-1), Tennessee (4-1-1), Vanderbilt (4-1-1), Ole Miss (3-3), Auburn (2-1-2), Arkansas (2-3-1), Kentucky (2-4) and either LSU (1-3-2) or Mississippi State (1-3-2). Florida is the defending SEC champion.
South Carolina (no. 3), Florida (no. 10) Tennessee (no. 19), and Texas A&M (no. 20) are all ranked in the top 20 nationally.
