Tacky Jacks Summer of Fun lunches include games, art & animals

Tacky Jacks in Orange Beach and Gulf Shores will again host Hands on Habitat, Art al Fresco, and Tacky Jacks Beach Games on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 11 a.m. til noon beginning June 3. For reservations or more info, visit tackyjacks.com.
• Beach Games is all about a little friendly competition. Kids ages 6-12 compete in games and challenges, and parents can compete in a friendly game of water balloon dodgeball for prizes! The event is free and held every Thursday from 11 am-noon (arrive 15 minutes early) at Tacky Jacks Gulf Shores.
• Hands on Habitat is a fun and educational hands on nature series presented by Gulf State Park Nature Center, Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo, Orange Beach Wildlife Center, and the Share the Beach sea turtle program. Learn about our ecosystem and interact with the animals that we live. It will be held on Tuesdays in Gulf Shores and Wednesdays in Orange Beach from 11 a.m. until noon.
• Art al Fresco is “a hands-on lunch & learn for starving artists of all ages.” Projects include tie-dye shirts, create-with-paint seashell fish, beachy or patriotic ball caps and create-with-clay coastal necklaces from 11 a.m. ‘til noon. The sign-up fee includes a $10 gift card for lunch, and the cost depends on the project. Offered Tuesdays in Orange Beach and Wednesdays in Gulf Shores.
