Tammy Thurow is new Perdido Chamber of Commerce president

After a months-long search, The Perdido Key Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors named Tammy Thurow as its new president. Originally from Nashville, Tammy (pictured) and her husband Tom moved to Perdido Key from Bentonville Arkansas (home of Walmart) where she spent 17 years with the Bentonville Area Chamber of Commerce as Vice President of membership and marketing.
Tammy is also past president of the Greater Eureka Springs Chamber of Commerce in Eureka Springs Arkansas and also held a variety of positions with non-profit organizations, including Executive. Director for the NWA Challenge for Hope benefiting the Northwest Arkansas Women’s Shelter and Development Director for Arkansas Athletes Outreach.
Tammy is passionate about promoting and planning for communities and organizations. Her love of Perdido Key and passion for creating meaningful partnerships in business made her the perfect choice to take our organization and membership to the next level of success, according to the Chamber.
