Tanger Outlet in Foley will undergo extensive renovation

The Tanger Outlet Center in Foley, home to more than 100 outlet stores, announced a renovation that will include modernizing exteriors, adding green space and expanding food and beverage offerings.
A new green space will include a shaded pavilion splash pad, expanded food and beverage options, along with lounge areas and seating for outdoor dining.
Upgrades also will also include new signage, entrances and refreshed paint. Construction is ongoing and will be phased in, with completion expected in fall 2027.
“The heart of this will be a centralized area with over 40,000 square feet of dining and family amenities,” said Tanger Outlets Marketing Director Debra Brown. “Our goal is to serve as more than a shopping center—we’re creating an inviting place for our community to come together to make memories, share experiences and enjoy even better shopping, food and fun.”
The renovation will also include a new road to connect what will be additional parking lots, walkable paths, expanded food and beverage options, elevated outdoor dining spaces and shaded lounge areas.
