Taylor Hicks, Larry Gatlin plays tickets OWA shows

OWA Theater in Foley will present Larry Gatlin on Nov. 11 and a former Flora-Bama possible/probably musician Taylor Hicks teh following night, Nov. 12. Both shows start at 7:30 p.m. Buy tickets at visitowa.com.
American Idol winner Hicks started playing gigs here with sidekick Jon Cook during a summer hang with his already locally famous grandmother, the late Joni Hicks, in the early oughts.
A Hoover native, Hicks often returns to Pleasure Isle to vacation and sit-in.
He won American Idol in 2006 behind his “Soul Patrol’’ fans and his career path since then has included acting and hosting a food show. He made his Grand Ole Opry debut in 2023.
