Tickets on sale for SBCT’s 50th anniversary gala on Sept. 30

South Baldwin Community Theater will celebrate its 50th anniversary with That 70’s Gala on Friday, September 30 at 7 p.m. Cost is $30 per person or $50 per couple and attendees are encouraged to show up in their grooviest 70’s attire. In addition to a mortgage burning celebration, the event will feature door prizes specialty drinks, and live entertainment with Wingbeat and Marsha Guyer & Friends. Sponsorships are available. Located at 2022 West 2nd St. in Gulf Shores, SBCT was founded as a non-profit in 1972 by the late Father Anthony Zoghby, Nancy Holk Totman and the late Herb Anderson. Members come from all walks of life to bring a piece of the performing arts to the Alabama Gulf Coast. It is through community support that it is still here 50 years later bringing the dramatic arts alive to everyone.

Pictured: Paula Ann and Dominic Demonico of Wingbeat have brought a tremendous diversity of talent and energy to the SBCT family. Paula Ann is a singer, songwriter, actor, dancer, choreographer, dance instructor and theater director with over 35 years of professional experience. She attended the University of Arts in Philadelphia, and has danced with the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater in New York City. She has also worked as a stunt woman in numerous film and television shows in addition to being voice actress for several video games and anime.
Dominic has over 30 years experience as a full time performer, producer, sound engineer and live theater musical director. A multi-instrumentalist and vocalist, he creates the Wingbeat full band sound by recording and producing high quality backing tracks to deliver an amazing dynamic musical experience.
