Trades of Tomorrow scholarship fundraiser is March 27

The Marshals’ Mardi Gras krewe and Perdido Beach Resort will host the March 27 Trades of Tomorrow fundraising dinner from 6-10 p.m. to finance trade scholarships for students at Gulf Shores and Orange Beach high schools. The event includes dinner, dancing and a silent auction. Individual ($150) and Table-Of-10 ($1650) tickets are available at perdidobeachresort.com.
The Marshals’ newly established scholarship program is designed to help high school seniors pursue post-graduation trade and technical education for students seeking careers in skilled trades – the builders, makers, and problem-solvers of tomorrow. This event celebrates the importance of trade education while giving attendees the opportunity to make a lasting impact on the future of local students.
