Transformational Waterway Village Pedestrian Bridge will open in early January

The City of Gulf Shores reported that, as of March 28 that the Waterway Village Pedestrian Bridge is still expected to open on Jan. 8, hopefully with a huge community party for the momentous occasion. Heavy construction of columns and elevator walls continue on the north side of the bridge. The median curb on Waterway East Blvd. and infrastructure near 25th Ave. will be completed after the bridge structure is set in place.
