Trop Rock charity fundraiser March 27-29 at Gary’s Brewery

Gary’s Brewery & Biergarten will host Saturday’s main concert event during a March 27-29 Trop Rock Music Assn. Artists Relief Foundation fundraiser that will also include Friday (Dave Freeman at 6 p.m.) and Sunday (Wes Loper at noon) house concerts on Innerarity Point. The house concerts are part of the Concerts on Canal series.
Saturday’s main event is at Gary’s expansive campus at 208 Newman Ave. (at Gulf Beach Hwy.) in Pensacola beginning at noon. Musicians playing will include Loper, Justin Colvard and Bob Durand from Gulf Shores, Danny Rosado from Pensacola, Greg Mihaly from Pensacola Beach, Reggie Starrett from Jacksonville, Freeman from New Port Richey, David Baker from Missouri and the Jonas Lorence Band from Texas.
There is no charge for any of the concerts, but donations will be accepted. There will be raffles and auctions throughout the weekend, a food truck on Saturday at Gary’s, and brunch prepared by Chef Josh from The Breakfast Club available Sunday.
Organizer Glenn Atwell of Harour Island Rocks hosted his first Trop Rock fundraiser four years ago, and his events have raised over $25K to support independent singers songwriters and musicians in times of need.
