When Covid Met Sally Restaurant book benefits St. Benedict Church

The Ladies of St. Margaret of Scotland Catholic Church have teamed up with local author Linda S. Eschler to provide a fundraiser for St. Benedict Catholic School in Elberta. “When COVID Met Sally, Coastal Alabama Restaurants Return Better Than Ever” is on sale for $15.
This is an interesting, informative and fun read, especially for residents of the Gulf Coast, as it highlights the history of familiar dining places. In addition, it provides recipes for the many dishes residents and visitors have come to crave.
The forward by Msgr. Paul Zoghby offers an insight into his family meals as well at the various parish food events. The book also features food trivia, tourist attractions, local Alabama history and famous people from Alabama.
Other books by Linda Eschler include Awakening Nicholas, the Strawberry Fairy Series, and Mississippi Gulf Coast Restaurants-Post Hurricane Katrina.
The new book featuring the Gulf Coast restaurants may be purchased on Amazon, at the St. Margaret parish office or by calling Diane Fiduccia, 501-637-2338 or Linda Eschler, 251-600-9694.
