Winter Showcase Series brings a variety of topics for locals and winter visitors
As Alabama’s Beaches gear up to host winter visitors, Gulf Shores & Orange Beach Tourism (GSOBT) is bringing back its highly touted Winter Showcase Series for 2025. The presentations are offered on weekdays at 10:30 a.m. from Monday, Jan. 13 through Friday, Feb. 21. There are no presentations on Feb. 4-6.
This free lecture series highlights a variety of local interests such as military history, nature and the environment, cooking classes, and updates from the cities of Gulf Shores and Orange Beach.
All lectures will take place at the Gulf State Park Learning Campus, and pre-event registration is required. During the record-breaking 2024 series registration spots filled quickly, so be sure to register early. Registration is available on the tourism office’s website at www.gulfshores.com/showcase. Simply select the presentation of interest and the registration form will open.
Local attractions and organizations can also submit to have a vendor table at the presentations to interact with attendees. Vendor tables can be reserved by contacting jnelson@AlabamasBeaches.com.
