Back Country Trail needs votes for best trails award
The Hugh S. Branyon Backcountry Trail at Gulf State Park is one of the candidates in USAToday’s 10Best Readers Choice Best Recreational Trail award. The top 10 vote-getters (of the 20 on the list) make the list of finalists.
“We know our residents and visitors alike love our Backcountry Trail, so let’s get busy and encourage people to vote,’’ said Kay Maghan of GS/OB Tourism.
Voters will have four weeks to vote for the candidate of their choice at 10best.com/awards/travel/ best-recreational-trail/. A person can vote once a day. Voting ends Feb. 6, and winners will be announced on Feb. 17.
