Environmental Academy plant sale thru March 29

The Gulf Shores High School Environmental Academy will host its annual horticultural spring plant sale through March 29 from 9 a.m. ‘til 1;30 p.m. at the Gulf Shores High School Greenhouse.
Vegetables, herbs, flowers, landscape plants and house plants will be available. Prices will vary according to size and type. For example, large pots ae $5, medium pots are $4-$5, and flats of 18 plants are $12-$15.
All proceeds will benefit the Environmental Academy and FFA.
Under the direction of Wil Tuggle, The GSHS Environmental Academy, in addition to maintaining a greehouse at the school, offers classes that include horticulture or greenhouse management and production. FFA is an intracurricular student organization for those interested in agriculture and leadership. It is one of the three components of agricultural education. The letters stand for Future Farmers of America.
