19 Questions with Susan Sizemore

An Orange Beach resident since 1999 and a local property owner since 1975, Susan Sizemore has been the Tacky Jacks Restaurant Group’s marketing director since company owner Buddy Skipper, a longtime friend, hired her for that position eight years back.
The mother of three sons, with four grandchildren already and a fifth on the way, Susan has an eclectic work history that includes teaching in three different Alabama school districts for a total of 12 years, running a hotel for three years and hanging her hat as a real estate agent.
A past chairman and four year board member of the Coastal Alabama Chamber of Commerce, Susan’s hobbies include gardening and traveling.
She has no plans to retire any time soon. “I like to eat,’’ she said with a smile. “I like what I do and this job is versatile enough that it is not 9-5 every day. I get to meet so many people and we are making a difference.’’
