A native of Demopolis, Brooker’s expertise is using mostly natural finds in his arrangements. He wows audiences with the unique ways he creates his designs. The atmosphere he creates, gives his audience the confidence to go home and try to create a beautiful design using items in their garden, from local florists or even from the roadside.
In addition to being the Operations Director for the Marengo County Historical Society, Brooker has his own design business. His eye for design has extended beyond graphics and into interiors, painting, floral, and event planning. Kirk also works with area schools in art education, and has been commissioned by towns and schools in the region for outdoor and indoor murals.
Active in community theater, Kirk has worked on stage, back stage, and off stage for the past 15 years. His most recent roles include Tom in Glass Menagerie (Canebrake Players, Demopolis), and Chip in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Sumter Theatre Workshop, Livingston). He’s also directed several productions.
