Chef Brodie Olive of Voyager’s overall winner at Wharf Uncorked; Event raises $20K for Make-A-Wish

The fourth annual Wharf Uncorked Food & Wine Festival, presented by Wind Creek Atmore, welcomed nearly 1,000 visitors this weekend, and through their generosity, a total of $20,357.57 was raised for Make-A-Wish® Alabama – an organization devoted to granting wishes to children statewide with life-threatening medical conditions. Funds were raised through live and silent auctions, sponsored by CSpire, and the total amount was awarded to Make-A-Wish with a check presentation. “We’ve been able to surpass total funds raised year over year for Make-A-Wish, and we appreciate everyone’s generosity toward such an influential cause,” said Sheena Mizell, marketing manager at The Wharf. “A huge thank you goes to all attendees, chefs, judges and vendors who braved the heat with us and made this event a complete success.”
