Coastal Alabama Lemonade Day

Coastal Alabama Lemonade Day
Local students put their entrepreneurial skills to the test this past May for the Coastal Alabama edition of the nationwide Lemonade Day. Students received material and had the ability to attend workshops in the months prior to learn a variety of skills including stand building, recipe development, and finance. “This was easily our most active year yet,” said Coastal Alabama Lemonade Day City Directory Penny Hughey. A committee of judges visited each stand and graded the stands. ‘Best of the Zest’: 3rd Place: Nate’s Lemonade Stand; 2nd Place: Safari Girls Lemonade; 1st Place: The E-Lemon-Ators.
