Fireworks & beachball drop July 1 at Wharf

The Wharf in Orange Beach will kick-off Independence Day weekend with the annual Pepsi® Beach Ball Drop on July 1 from 5-9 p.m, with the ball drop taking place around 6:40 p.m. The event will feature family friendly fun and a grand fireworks show, presented by Beachball Properties.
Four thousand beach balls will fall from above Marlin Circle — some specially marked for redeemable prizes such as sunglasses, coolers, chairs, attraction passes and even concert tickets. There will be a variety of kids activities available throughout the night including: a surf simulator, bouncy house, bubble zone, rock climbing wall, bungee trampoline, live animals and face painting priced at $5-$10. The fireworks will snap, crackle and pop to the beat of a patriotic-themed musical element at 8:45 p.m. with the SPECTRA Laser Light Experience to immediately follow at the end of the evening.
The property will also host a three-night performance, July 2-4, from top-charting country artist Luke Combs with special guests Channing Wilson and Flatland Cavalry at The Wharf Amphitheater. Other events taking place throughout the summer include the nightly So. Much. Summer. series through August 8, and the Blue Marlin Grand Championship July 16-17.
