Foley is the spot for high-flying adventure and family fun at the May 12-14 Gulf Coast Hot Air Balloon Festival. Enjoy live entertainment, arts and crafts displays and more on the expansi e grounds of OWA. Balloon flights, glows and tethered rides (weather permitting) add to the fun at dawn and dusk. Named Alabama Tourism’s Event of the Year in 2021, the fest features fine food and retail vendors, access to The Park at OWA, the popular Dare Devil Dog Show, kids inflatables, pony and camel rides and a spectacular mass ascension by as many as 40 balloonists.
