Olympic champ Grevers swim clinic Oct. 1 at O.B. Aquatics Center
Hall of Fame Weekend & Swimposium also includes a parents seminar

The Orange Beach Aquatics Center will host the Breakout Swim Clinic featuring Olympic gold medalist Matt Grevers (pictured) on Saturday, October 1 from 8 a.m. ‘til noon. The clinic will allow children to experience in water demonstrations and instruction with Grevers, a six-time Olympic medalist.
At the 2008 Summer Olympics, Grevers won gold medals as a member of the U.S. teams in the 4×100-meter freestyle and 4×100-meter medley relays, and a silver medal in the 100-meter backstroke. Four years later at the 2012 Summer Olympics, he won gold in the 100-meter backstroke and the 4×100-meter medley relay, and silver in the 4×100-meter freestyle.
The clinic is part of the 2016 Southeastern Swimming Hall of Fame Weekend and Swimposium being held in Orange Beach. The event also includes a parents seminar conducted by Dave Thomas, USA Swimming Sports Consultant at the Orange Beach Recreation Center, adjacent to the Aquatics Center.
