In an audio recording, a Yemen-based terrorist group, Qasim al-Raymi, said that they directed the Saudi military national to carry out the attack.
The three Navy sailors murdered were Ensign Joshua Kaleb Watson, 23, of Enterprise; Airman Mohammed Sameh Haitham, 19, of St. Petersburg; and Airman Apprentice Cameron Scott Walters, 21, of Richmond Hill, Ga. Eight others sustained gunshot wounds, including two responding ECSD deputies who sustained gunshot wounds to their limbs.
