The Orange Beach Senior Center will sponsor an informative and relaxing Lunch and Learn with Sallie Beckes presenting An Introduction To Gentle Chair Yoga on Friday, August 26 at 11 a.m. Cost is $ 3 per person for lunch. Call 251-981-3440 to reserve a spot.
Sallie will ease attendees into the gentle practice of “Yoga for EveryBODY” with easy chair yoga and standing yoga postures.

Pictured: Sallie Norris Beckes, is a 500 Hour Certified Kripalu Yoga Teacher who specializes in Gentle and Senior Yoga. She has studied with renowned teachers from the Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health, Peggy Cappy, of the PBS Series “Yoga for the Rest of Us” in addition to Dr. Loren Fishman and Ellen Saltonstall, authors of “Yoga for Arthritis” and “Yoga for Osteoporosis.” She is a member of Kripalu’s KYAA and registered with the Yoga Alliance.
Sallie’s expertise encompasses classes which are back-care friendly, light hearted and suited for all levels and body types. Accommodating all levels and needs, she is able to help her students appropriately modify traditional yoga postures and gentle stretches.
