Foley Art Center gallery sets sales record in July
Sales at the Foley Art Center were a record high for the month of June, according to Zana Price, coordinator at the local co-op located at 211 N McKenzie St. (Hwy. 59) in downtown Foley (251-943.4381).
“Even without the successful pop up market receipts we sold much of our members work,’’ Price said. “The summer months have always been practically dead for walk in traffic and sales. But not this summer.’’
Price said that gallery visitors included tourists and new residents interested in the gallery’s selection of quality handcrafted work beautifully displayed.
“Be sure to stop by for a special one of a kind gift or something for yourself,’’ she said.
The FAC’s June pop-up featured 19 artists and crafters and was an overwhelming success.Price is already making plans for the FAC’s 53rd Annual Trim-a-Tree, a six week holiday pop-up at Tanger Center that features local art, crafts and gifts. Opening day will be Friday, November 13.
