Public can learn to create fairy garden on Feb. 13

The doldrums of January have not diminished the enthusiasm of the members of the Robertsdale Garden Club. Even though the weather is not conducive to planting and growing, it is not too early to plan a fairy garden. Although there is a multitude of web sites to assist in creating a fairy garden, the Robertsdale Garden Club is pleased to have a speaker at its February meeting to educate us on the subject.
Bonnibel Byars, a Baldwin County Master Gardener, will present a Power Point presentation and demonstration on fairy gardens. A fairy garden can be large or in miniature which is good news for those with limited space to garden. This activity can introduce youngsters to the joy of gardening with an added flair of whimsy and fun.
Guests are invited to attend this meeting which takes place on Tuesday, February 13, at the G P. Thames Adult Activity Center, at 10:00 a.m. The address for the Center is 22651 E. Chicago St., Robertsdale, AL, 36567. Join us for education, fun, and fellowshi
