This new focus is bringing in parents, students and citizens all with the goal of giving our children the very best. The “Paws on Parade” event that was added last year will be back. Pet owners are encouraged to dress their pets in their finest outfits and come out and participate in the parade. There will be 130 artists; an expanded car show on the west side of the Wharf complex; fifteen food booths offering seafood and other specialties and entertainment from two stages. The Kids Zone will feature a Mega Slide, Mechanical Bull & Surfboard, and various games. Also on hand will be the Orange Beach Wildlife Center, Alligator Alley and other entertainment. There is no admission and plenty of parking. The $2 per car donation collected for parking goes directly to our schools.
