Little Miss Zydeco Pageant April 12 at Erie Meyer Civic Center

The inaugural Little Miss Zydeco Pageant will take place on April 12 at 6 p.m. at the Erie Meyer Civic Center. Kristie Wheeles is spearheading the Little Miss Zydeco Pageant in collaboration with Waterway Village merchants.
Participants will compete in four different grade levels: PreK and Kindergarten, First Grade and Second Grade, Third Grade and Fourth Grade, and Fifth Grade and Sixth Grade. Each grade level will award one queen, one first runner-up and three princesses. Queens will be announced at the Zydeco & Crawfish Festival on Saturday, April 20.
All contestants must currently attend a public/private school within Baldwin County or be homeschooled in Baldwin County. Winners will be selected by judges based on a point system. Registration forms can be accessed and printed at gulfshoresal.gov or gulfcoastkarate.com. Registration includes a $40 nonrefundable entry and t-shirt fee.
