Former Waffle House COO Bert Thorton and former major league pitcher Jake Peavy are business leaders scheduled to speak at the Living Success Conference at Magnolia Hall (adjacent to Cosmo’s) in Orange Beach on Oct. 19 from 9:30 – 3:30 p.m. Renowned online sales expert Sadie Nardini will also speak.
Early bird tickets are $179 plus fees, and a gourmet lunch catered by Cosmo’s is included.

Living Success is a personal and business development conference geared toward entrepreneurs, business owners, educators, community leaders, corporate employees, or anyone who is interested in personal and/or professional fulfillment, balance and productivity. 
“We are excited to be working on the biggest event we have created so far and are thrilled about our speaker line-up,” said Jamie Robertson, a Dialed In Living founding board member.
Robertson of Orange Beach Yoga is co-hosting the conference with Jenifer Parnell, the marketing director at The Flora-bama, and Kristina Halfacre of RE/MAX Paradise and HGTV.
• Sadie Nardini, an online yoga course creator, has over 1-2 million viewers a month between Facebook, Instagram and the Club. She travels the world speaking about yoga, fitness, social media and finding one’s true voice. Her specialty is faster empowerment and transformation on all levels. She is also the lead singer for the rock band Sadie & The Tribe.
• Jake Peavy is a two-­time World Series champion, three-­time Major League All-Star and National League Cy Young Award winner. A Mobile native, he founded The Jake Peavy Foundation in 2012. His foundation supports sports, music, and financial literacy programs that transform the lives of young people, particularly those in underserved and at-risk communities across America.
• Bert Thornton, as president and chief operations officer, helped build the company to its present iconic status. Waffle House is one of the largest 24-hour restaurant chains in the world. He retired from restaurant operations in 2011 and remains as vice chairman emeritus.
