Songwriters at Sunset Sept. 6 at Lost Key Clubhouse

The Perdido Area Chamber of Commerce will present the Songwriters at Sunset Benefit Concert on Friday, September 6 at 6 p.m. at the Lost Key Beach Clubhouse, located directly on the Gulf of Mexico. a beachfront in Perdido Key. Award-winning songwriters Jon Nite, Jimmy Robbins and JT Harding will perform. Tickets can be purchased online at PerdidoChamber.com or by calling 850-492-4660. General admission tickets are $100 and preferred seating tickets are also available for $150. admission includes food and open bar (must be 21 and over to attend).
Proceeds will benefit the Frank Brown Foundation for Music and the Perdido Area Chamber Foundation.
“The potential benefit of the proceeds from this event will assist our foundation in making a difference in the lives of young people in our area,” said Andy Haynes, Director of the Frank Brown International Foundation for Music and Songwriters Festival.
The festival in its 35th year, brings in over 200 Grammy award winning and up and coming songwriters from around the world and thousands of fans to 32 different venues from Fairhope to downtown Pensacola.
Nite’s song, “Break Up in the End” recently broke #1 on the Country Aircheck chart for Cole Swindell, earning a 2019 Grammy Award nomination for Best Country Song. His current singles are Luke Bryan, “Knocking Boots,” Dierks Bentley, “Living,” Gabby Barret, “I Hope,’’ and Tyler Rich. “Leave her Wild.” In 2014, Robbins won a CMA Triple Play Award for having 3 #1 songs in a twelve-month period.
