Sunrise Condo snowbirds spell it out for us: “God Bless The USA”

“This tradition was started here at Island Sunrise Condos several year ago by veterans,’’ writes Jim “Jimmy K’’ Kachelmuss of Illinois. “The originator has not been able to come down for a couple of years. Another veteran took over the tradition, but unfortunately he has passed away. Three of us wanted to carry on the tradition, so this year we made this sand sculpture in their honor. God bless the USA!’’ Joining Kachelmuss for the project were Dave Benson of Illinois and Gary Schoonover of New York.
