GCAC Golf Tourney raises funds for school equipment

Almost 100 players enjoyed a great day of golf, fun and festivities during this summer’s 17th Annual Gulf Coast Athletic Club Golf Tournament at The Craft Farms Golf Resort. Proceeds from the tournament help the club continue its support for Gulf Shores School System Athletics by providing funding for much needed athletic equipment. The club also sponsors scholarships of up to $5000 each for a deserving male and female senior scholar athlete each spring. Over the past four years, GCAC has donated over $50,000 to Gulf Shores Athletics.
GCAC wishes to thank all the players for participating, all the great volunteers, Craft Farms for their support, and a very special thanks to all our great sponsors.
Special guest speaker for the club’s August 26 kick-off meeting is Jake Coker, former Alabama championship quarterback. GCAC membership is $250 per person for the season and includes eight dinner meetings at the Craft Farms Golf Resort Clubhouse.
