Musicians For Autism March 21 at Oasis Resort at The Wharf
The Oasis Resort at The Wharf will be open to the public during
the 7th Annual Musicians For Autism Festival in Orange Beach
on Saturday March 21 from 10 a.m. ‘til 9 p.m. Admission is $10 for
adults and $5 for children 10 and under.
The event, held to raise autism awareness, includes live music
from at least 10 bands, a silent auction, raffles, great food and
family activities, all in support of autism spectrum disorder families
in Alabama. The sandy beaches, lazy river, wave pool, hot tub
and volleyball courts will also be open to attendees during the
event. Sassy Bass Cafe at The Oasis will donate 50 percent of all
food entree sales in support, and musicians are donating their
time for the cause.
Silent auction items include parasailing and dolphin cruise trips,
ski rentals, coolers, zero gravity chairs, autographed musical instruments
and gift cards and passes to local restauranats and attractions.
Bands, duos and solo musicians who have already volunteered
their time for the event include Milton Faustino, Jordan Davis,
Brad Petherl, Reid Soria, Scott Koehn, Lisa Christian and Dave
Nizorik, Jimmy and the Parrots, The Bitter End Band (picturedleft)
and Midnight Shepherds.
