Sassy Bass Singer/Songwriter Contest final is Nov. 30

The final round of the of the Sassy Bass Singer/Songwriter Contest will be held at Sassy Bass Cookout Tiki Bar in Fort Morgan on Nov. 30 from 6-9 p.m. The first of preliminary rounds was held on Nov. 2, and preliminary rounds continue on Nov. 16 and Nov. 23 at the bistro located at 8818 State Hwy 180 (Fort Morgan Rd.). A minimum of five songwriters, including one winner from each preliminary round, will advance to the final. Songwriters can register online for consideration at sassybass.com. Call 251-948-3052 for info. The winner will be determined by a vote among the audience and ballots will be given to all patrons who enter the venue before 6 p.m. during the final round. There is no cover charge to attend.
The contest winner will earn $1500, a $500 Sassy Bass restaurant gift card, and have their name engraved on a plaque displayed at Sassy Bass Cookout Tiki Bar. Second place is good for $500 and a $500 Sassy Bass restaurant gift card. The place writer gets a $500 Sassy Bass restaurant gift card and fourth place a $100 Sassy Bass restaurant gift card.
