Historic Foley Walking Tours Every Saturday Morning

Foley will be one of more than 20 Alabama towns that will host walking tours Saturday mornings during April. The free walking tours, which primarily highlight historic, downtown areas are scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. each Saturday in April. In Foley, the tours will begin in front of the Welcome Center, located at 104 N. McKenzie Street in the heart of downtown Foley. The tour lasts about one hour, and covers 5 city blocks. Tours are led by area residents. In Foley, the tour highlights the 1909 Railroad Depot building, the Magnolia Hotel, the Holk Building, the Holmes Hospital building and the Foley Hotel building.
